A scholar, a scientist, a philosopher - I'm a little bit of everything - but mostly, an unapologetic nerd with a love of all things science and science fiction. Here are some highlights from my professional bio:

• Graduate of The University of Connecticut (B.A., Behavioral Neuroscience) and Harvard University (M.A., Religious Studies)
• Former researcher at UConn and Brown University
• Passionate autodidact dabbler in cosmology, quantum physics (specifically black hole physics and ToEs), planetary science, and exobiology.
• Proud member of the Planetary Science Discovery Team, SETI@home, the AAAS, the AAR, the Sierra Club, and the CT Forest and Park Association.
• Scholar in the history of science and philosophy, with further interest in ethics, logic, and world religions.
